For Helena. For Vincent. For everyone.

Our History

The earliest traces of the idea of the Borkoshavski Academy trace them back to Ala Borkoshavski's arrival to the states. Then, Ala Capulo, would arrive alongside Helena Borkoshavski, Ala having escaped a lab in Italy that imbued him with his wings. It was here, that he would be taken in by Starman, beginning their lifelong friendship and mentoring.

When Ala and Helena became aware that they would be having a child in early 1990, they realized that, at the time, the world for superhumans was rocky and tremulous. Constant hatecrimes and anti-superhuman legislature were being passed everytime they'd open a newspaper. This was not the system that they wanted their child to live under. So Ala and Helena partnered with Vincent and his wife, famed reporter Tracey Track, to open a school right here in Vermont for superpowered children.

But the question was... how could they afford all of this? Well, The Olympians, of course! At the time, Ala Borkoshavski was a founding member of the Borkoshavski Academy. Due to how much money the organization made due to brand deals (as well as selling their cinematic rights, and unprecedented decision at the time), they were able to at least make a solid investment. Also involved in funding the project was one of Ala Borkoshavski's close friends, Brutus Martinez, founder of Morningstar Media.
